S-Bahn S2, S16, S24 or IC/IR trains run from ZRH station (underneath arrivals) to Zurich HB in 9 to 13 min, CHF 7, every 5 to 10 min. Tram 10 runs from terminal to Hauptbahnhof in about 35 min for the same ZVV fare.

A quick train ride downtown for a walk or meal is doable if lines are light.

Swiss Franc (CHF). Cards accepted everywhere. Skip airport exchange bureaus, use bank ATMs in the city for better rates.

German (Swiss German locally). English widely spoken in central Zurich, at the airport, and in most restaurants.
