Do I need a visa to leave PTY on a layover?
Most travelers who can enter Panama visa-free (US, Canada, UK, EU and many more) can exit the airport on a layover. Check your passport’s requirements before you fly, and try our can-I-leave-the-airport checker.
What about my checked bags?
On a single ticket, checked bags transfer automatically and you tour without them. On separate tickets, use luggage storage or choose a private tour and keep bags in the vehicle.
What if my inbound flight is late?
