• Follow signs to passport control immediately on landing
• Have onward boarding pass and hotel/address ready for questions
• Mostly domestic and regional (Uruguay, Chile, Brazil). Immigration on regional arrivals is quick, usually under 15 min. Domestic flights skip immigration entirely.

AEP sits 3 km from the city centre along the riverfront. City bus 33, 37, or 45 runs to Retiro and the Microcentro in 15 to 20 min for a few hundred pesos (SUBE card required). Taxis are a fixed tariff of roughly US $10 and take 10 to 15 min.

• Leave enough buffer - trains run to a schedule and can be delayed
• Buy your return ticket in advance if possible
• Set an alarm 45 min before your departure gate closes

• Re-entry security at AEP typically takes 10-20 min
• Check your gate - it may have changed while you were out
• Liquids bought in the city cannot pass security - finish or bin them
