Sea-Tac has one of the best transit links of any North American airport. The Link Light Rail departs from directly below the main terminal and reaches downtown Seattle (Westlake Center) in 38 minutes, running every 8-10 minutes. It bypasses the freeway entirely, which means the journey time is reliable regardless of when you travel.

The airport spans multiple concourses. The N Satellite is worth the 5-minute underground people-mover ride: it has a better restaurant mix than the main building, including Skillet Counter near the gates. International arrivals clear through the S Concourse, which connects to the main terminal via an underground tunnel. Alaska Airlines is the home carrier; their lounges are the best paid option for a comfortable wait. Centurion and Delta Sky Club are also present for cardholders.

Security queues at SEA peak in the early afternoon. If you have a tight connection, check in early and clear security before exploring. The yoga room and meditation space near security are worth knowing about if you have a long wait.
