HAV demands preparation. Immigration queues run 45-90 minutes, Wi-Fi is unreliable, and US cards do not work anywhere in Cuba. Bring Euros or Canadian dollars, download your D’Viajeros QR code before boarding, and keep a printed backup. The payoff is that taxis to Old Havana take 30 minutes, and Havana rewards every hour spent in it.
