YYC is a comfortable, well-organized airport with one clear weakness: no rail to downtown. Route 300 BRT fills the gap, running every 30-45 minutes for CAD $4 and reaching downtown in about an hour. A centralized security checkpoint with CT scanners, introduced in late 2025, means liquids stay in your bag. US-bound passengers pre-clear American customs here before departure, so US-connection layovers need more time than the flight screen suggests.
