SGN runs busy, and that deserves a plain warning: immigration and security here carry real queues, especially at peak arrivals. The 50-minute immigration estimate in our numbers is conservative for a reason. The city, on the other hand, is close. Grab from Terminal 2 to District 1 in normal traffic takes 15 to 30 minutes.

Lounges

Terminal Lounge Access Showers Good for Price (paid)
International Le Saigonnais/PP lounges PP/Dragon/Paid Some Snacks/buffet About $30-50 USD
Domestic Airline/PP lounges PP/Dragon/Paid/eligible Limited Snacks/drinks About $20-40 USD

Terminal 2 handles international routes; Terminal 1 is domestic. They share the same building landside but are airside-separated once you clear security. Public bus 152 to District 1 costs about 5,000 VND and runs every 12 to 18 minutes until 7pm. Free WiFi is available in T2 international. As of early 2026, Vietnam’s e-visa covers 80-plus nationalities; verify current eligibility before traveling. Allow 3 hours before international departure for check-in, immigration, and security.
