HAN handles all international arrivals in Terminal 2, where there are no e-gates for foreign passport holders and evening banks from Seoul, Tokyo, and Taipei can push immigration past 45 minutes. Have your e-visa QR code or printout ready before reaching the counter rather than searching for it in the queue. Airside in T2, Pho 24 and Highlands Coffee are faster and better value than the Western chain options. For the city, Bus 86 is cheap (VND 45,000, every 20-30 minutes to central Hanoi) and Grab is reliable from the designated pickup zone outside arrivals.
