Guarulhos is large and well-organized; Terminal 3 handles most international traffic and is comfortable. The Line 13-Jade train is the only option that bypasses São Paulo’s traffic: 25 minutes to Engenheiro Goulart metro station for R.40, then connect to the main metro network. Add 90 minutes minimum to your return trip – São Paulo road traffic is unpredictable and regularly runs well past estimates. WiFi is free throughout the terminal. As of early 2026 most nationalities need a valid visa or prior SISFRON registration to enter Brazil; verify before you travel.
