What we'd tell a friend

BRU has one of the more practical airport rail links in northern Europe: direct trains to Brussels-Central run every 10 minutes and cover the route in 17 minutes for around EUR 13 including the Diabolo airport supplement. Past security in Pier A, Belgorama serves Belgian classics from early morning, which matters for travelers arriving on overnight long-haul from Africa or the Gulf. Transfer connections between Pier A (Schengen) and Pier B (non-Schengen) are well-signed but allow 10-15 minutes for the walk. The airport is compact and manageable for a self-transfer or a quick city trip.
