CDG is a three-campus airport masquerading as a single one. Terminal 1 is the circular Skyteam hub, Terminal 2 stretches into six zones (2A through 2G), and Terminal 3 handles budget carriers. Know your terminal before you arrive: T2G requires a shuttle bus from the main T2 building, which adds 15 to 20 minutes you have to account for.

RER B is the main rail link to Paris. From T2 and T1, it runs every 10 to 15 minutes to Gare du Nord (about 25 minutes) and then on to Chatelet-Les Halles (35 minutes total). A single ticket costs EUR 11.80 as of early 2026. Fixed-price taxis between CDG and central Paris run EUR 55 to the Right Bank or EUR 62 to the Left Bank (daytime).

Non-EU arrivals can face slow immigration at T1 and T2E during morning peaks. Budget 45 to 60 minutes. Showers at T1 and T2G (paid). Prayer rooms airside in T2E and T2F. Free WiFi throughout.
