S-Bahn S1 and S8 both reach Hauptbahnhof and Marienplatz in about 40 to 45 min (€13.60 one-way, every 10 min). Lufthansa Express Bus serves Hauptbahnhof in 45 min for €13. There is no dedicated non-stop airport express train.

• Buy your return ticket in advance if possible
• Set an alarm 65 min before your departure gate closes

• Re-entry security at MUC typically takes 10-20 min
