Is it worth leaving the airport?
- Leave with 6+ hours. Under that, stay airside.
- Visa: Check Saudi transit/visa rules; many nationalities can use transit or e-visa. If not, stay airside.
- Luggage: Check arrivals storage; plan to travel light.
- Transit: 25-45 minutes to central Riyadh by taxi/app.
3-5 hours: stay airside
Eat, coffee, lounge for showers/Wi‑Fi. Gate 40 minutes before boarding.
6-9 hours: Kingdom Tower area
Taxi/app to Kingdom Centre area. Quick mall walk, coffee, and city views if time allows. Leave 3-4 hours before departure.
10+ hours: add Boulevard/exterior sights
After Kingdom Centre, a short hop to Boulevard area for a walk and food. Return with buffer.
