Domestic-only airport means no Priority Pass lounges. ANA and JAL lounges are the main options for alliance travelers. Lounge Osaka is available pre-security for a small fee.

- Domestic flights only — if you need international, use Kansai (KIX) instead.
- Recently renovated terminal with excellent Japanese restaurants and shops.
- Much more convenient than KIX for reaching central Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe.
- No immigration — it's purely domestic.

- 551 Horai (famous pork buns) and other Osaka specialties available.
- Quality rivals city restaurants — Itami is known for good airport dining.

- No shower facilities at the airport. Use lounges if you have access, or head into the city.

- Coin lockers throughout the terminal; ¥400–700 per use depending on size.

Transit to City
- Osaka Monorail: To Hotarugaike (2 min, ¥200), transfer to Hankyu Line for Umeda/central Osaka (~30 min total, ~¥650).
- Airport Limousine Bus: Direct to Osaka Station (~30 min, ¥660), Kyoto (~55 min, ¥1,340), Kobe (~40 min, ¥1,070).
- Taxi: ~30 min to central Osaka, around ¥5,000–7,000 (~$35–50 USD).
- Buffer: Back at ITM 1.5h domestic (no international flights).

- SIM/eSIM: Domestic airport — no SIM counters for tourists. Buy at KIX on arrival to Japan or use eSIM.
