Traveler notes

  • Much closer to Buenos Aires city center than Ezeiza — ideal for domestic and regional flights.
  • Small airport; check-in and security are generally quick.
  • If connecting between AEP and EZE, allow at least 4 hours (different airports, ~45 min apart by road).
🛏️

Sleep / Rest

  • Not designed for overnighting — limited seating, no sleep facilities.
  • City hotels in Palermo are 10–15 minutes away by taxi.
🍽️

Food

  • Small selection of cafés and sandwich shops; empanadas and medialunas available.
  • Better options are just outside the airport in Palermo neighborhood.
🚿

Showers

  • No shower facilities at the airport. Head to a nearby gym or hotel if needed.
🧳

Luggage Storage

  • Small luggage storage available landside; limited hours and capacity.
🚇

Transit to City

  • Taxi: ~15 minutes to city center (Microcentro), around ARS 5,000–10,000.
  • Bus: Several city bus lines stop nearby (33, 37, 45); needs SUBE card.
  • Uber/Cabify: Easy pickup, ~10–20 minutes to most neighborhoods.
  • Buffer: Back at AEP 2h international, 1.5h domestic.
🔌

Essentials

  • SIM/eSIM: Same carriers as EZE — Claro, Personal. Buy in the city for better deals.
